Tunnel Waterproofing Works

Project Description:

This project should be the largest contract of the 12 major civil works contracts awarded for Phase I and II of the Shatin to Central Link project. Works included the construction of as underground station (Exhibition Center Station) and 300 m of cut & cover tunnel along Convention Avenue (Western Approach Tunnel). The works were carried out in one of the busiest areas of Wan Chai business district.

On April 2017, our company was awarded for the project of “Contract No. SCL1123 – Exhibition Station and Western Approach Tunnel” from Leighton – China State Joint Venture.

 The works herein specified for waterproofing system to the Exhibition Station and Western Approach Tunnel. The waterproofing works were approximately 90,000 m².

The works were started on June 2017 and the works are in-progress. We provided 15 years warranty for the waterproofing works in this project.
